Splendour Karnataka Temple Travel Package 4 Days Itinerary

Day 01: Bangalore – Srirangapatna – Mysore – Coorg

Your spiritual journey begins as our representative warmly welcomes you in Bangalore. From there, drive to Srirangapatna, the historic capital of Hyder Ali and Tipu Sultan. Visit the Sri Ranganatha Swamy Temple, an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Then, proceed to the Kshanambika Temple and the Goddess Nimishamba Temple, where Goddess Nimishamba is believed to resolve her devotees’ troubles within a minute (Nimisha means minute).

 

Continue your journey to Mysore and visit the Chamundi Temple, situated atop Chamundi Hills. The temple houses a majestic idol of Goddess Chamundeshwari. After receiving her blessings, drive to Coorg. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel for an overnight stay.

 Day 02: Coorg – Kukke Subrahmanya

Start your day with breakfast, check out of the hotel, and head to Talacauveri, the scenic birthplace of the River Kaveri, nestled in the Brahmagiri Hills. Visit the Talacauvery Temple, and continue to Bhagamandala, the confluence of the sacred rivers Kaveri, Sujyothi, and Kanike. Offer prayers at the Bhagandeshwara Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva.

 

Later, proceed to Kukke Subrahmanya, a revered pilgrimage site located along the Kumaradhara River. After checking in to your hotel, visit the Adi Subrahmanya Temple with its iconic anthill (Valmmika) and the main Subrahmanya Temple, dedicated to the Snake God Vasuki and Lord Subrahmanya. Explore other small shrines such as the Uma Maheshwara Temple and Samputa Narasimha Temple. End your day by visiting the Kashikatte Ganapathi Temple and the imposing 21-feet tall Kukke Shree Abhaya Mahaganapathi, built in Nepali architectural style. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

 Day 03: Kukke Subrahmanya – Southadka – Dharmasthala – Sringeri

After checking out from the hotel in the morning, drive to Southadka Ganapathi Kshetra, an open-air temple dedicated to Vana Mahaganapathi, set amidst natural beauty. There are no time restrictions for worship. Continue the journey to Dharmasthala, an important Hindu pilgrimage site. Visit the Lord Manjunathaswamy Temple to seek blessings from Lord Shiva, and then explore Rathnagiri, home to the 39-foot statue of Bahubali (Gommateshwara), and Bidinede Betta (Annappa Betta), where women are not allowed.

 

Next, drive to Sringeri, located on the banks of the Tunga River, and home to the first mutt established by Adi Shankaracharya. Visit the Sri Sharadamba Temple, dedicated to the Goddess of Knowledge, and the Vidyashankara Temple, an architectural marvel. After offering prayers and having dinner at the temple’s dining hall, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

 Day 04: Sringeri – Belur – Halebid – Bangalore

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards Bangalore, with stops at Belur and Halebid, two towns renowned for their breathtaking Hoysala architecture. Visit the Chennakesava Temple in Belur, known for its intricate carvings, and the Hoysaleswara Temple in Halebid, famous for its magnificent sculptures and temple complexes. These towns are often referred to as the “Gem of Indian Architecture.”

 

After exploring these architectural wonders, continue your drive to Bangalore. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at a designated location, marking the end of your Splendour Karnataka Temple Travel Package, filled with divine blessings and cherished memories.
