 Day 01: Bangalore – Belur – Sringeri

Your journey begins with a pickup from Bangalore, followed by a scenic drive to Belur, a famous temple town on the banks of the Yagachi River. Here, visit the magnificent Chennakesava Temple, renowned for its intricate Hoysala architecture, hand-carved filigreed pillars, and breathtaking sculptures.

 

After exploring Belur, proceed to Sringeri, home to the Sringeri Sharada Peeta, the first mutt established by Jagadguru Adi Shankaracharya. Located on the banks of the Tunga River, Sringeri boasts historic temples, including the Sharadamba Temple and Vidyashankara Temple. In the evening, offer prayers to the Goddess of Knowledge at the Sharadamba Temple and visit other nearby shrines. Dinner will be provided at the temple dining hall, and you will stay overnight at a hotel in Sringeri.

 Day 02: Sringeri – Kollur Mookambika – Udupi

Begin your day with another visit to the Sharadamba Temple for prayers, followed by checkout from your hotel. Drive to Kollur, a sacred temple town nestled at the foot of the Kodachadri Hills in the Western Ghats. Kollur Mookambika Temple is dedicated to Goddess Mookambika and is regarded as one of the Shakti Peetas and Mukti Kshetras. The temple features a swayambhu jyotirlinga and a panchaloha image of the goddess, consecrated by Adi Shankaracharya.

 

After receiving blessings, proceed to Udupi, a coastal city known for its famous Krishna Temple and Udupi cuisine. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and visit the Sri Krishna Temple, founded by Jagadguru Madhwacharya in the 13th century. Seek the blessings of Lord Krishna through the unique Navagraha Kindi window. You may also visit nearby temples, including Chandramouleshwara and Ananteshwara Temples. Overnight stay at the hotel in Udupi.

 Day 03: Udupi – Dharmasthala – Kukke Subrahmanya

After checking out of your hotel, head to Sri Rama Kshetra, situated on the banks of the Nethravathi River. Then, continue to Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala, one of Karnataka’s most revered pilgrimage sites. Upon arrival, visit the famous Manjunathaswamy Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Also visit Rathnagiri, home to a statue of Bhagawan Bahubali, and Bidinede (Annappa) Betta, noting that women are not permitted to visit.

 

Afterwards, drive to Sauthadka Ganapathi Kshetra, an open-air temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha, where you can offer prayers at any time amidst serene natural beauty. Proceed to Kukke Subrahmanya, a renowned temple surrounded by lush forests and hills, located on the banks of the Kumaradhara River. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy an overnight stay.

 Day 04: Kukke Subrahmanya – Bangalore

On your final day, visit the Kukke Subrahmanya Temple, known for its rituals pertaining to the snake god. Begin with a visit to Kashikatte Ganapathi Temple, where the idol of Ganapathi is said to have been installed by Sage Narada. Also visit Kukke Shree Abhaya Mahaganapathi, a towering 21-foot statue with Nepali-style architecture. Continue to the Adisubrahmanya Temple and the main temple to seek blessings from Lord Subrahmanya.

 

After exploring other nearby shrines such as Uma Maheshwara Temple, Samputa Narasimha Temple, Hosaligamma, and Kukke Lingas, check out from your hotel and head back to Bangalore.
